About The Swope Family Fund

Steve and Marie Swope created the Swope Family Fund as a way to support charities in their community, country and across the world.  The Swope Family Fund was established when Steve’s company, The Rubicon Group was sold in 2011.  Steve and Marie have been long time supporters of various charities, but the establishment of the Swope Family Fund has enabled. them to support organizations that exhibit meaningful, and profound impact on the lives of children, the poor, and those adversely affected by natural disasters around the world.  This website provides information on some of the charities and events that the Swope Family Fund supports.

Steve and Marie live on a small farm just outside of Newnan, Georgia.  They volunteer with a number of organizations, grow vegetables, and try to find time to relax. Steve and Marie have two adult children. Their daughter Jennifer and her husband Toby reside in Washington, DC with their children Eleanor and Henry. Their son Matthew and his wife Orren reside in Newnan.  Matthew is an Assistant District Attorney in Coweta County, Georgia and Orren is a psychologist.
